We partner with schools and districts to understand their needs and establish goals to develop a professional learning plan for school improvement. Our guiding questions include:
- Is your school/district’s EL population growing?
- Are ALL students achieving at high standards?
- Are educators effectively supporting students and families?
We break down “silos” that EL students experience in order for students to meet high standards for content and language instruction. We aim for sustainable impact by building capacity within professional learning communities. We are focused on equitable outcomes for students K-12 through a multi-pronged professional learning approach:
- Instructional leadership and administrator training and coaching
- Coach/teacher leader training and coaching
- Teachers (ELL, content, specialist) training and coaching
- Support staff training and coaching
We collaborate with teams of administrators, coaches, teachers & support staff to identify and improve policies and practices that impact student learning. Through Confianza’s Action Cycle, we analyze, act, and continuously assess our work to measure progress towards your goals.
