119-11: Strong Home-School Connections for ELLs: September 12-October 10, 2018
Educators can tap into ELLs' rich and diverse assets to improve family engagement and classroom performance. In this interactive and engaging course held on Schoology.com, participants will learn and apply research-based strategies for uncovering ELLs' "funds of knowledge" for culturally responsive schooling. Participants will generate fieldwork with tools and a personalized "action cycle" implementation plan for new learning to immediately impact schooling practices.
